About ZEPU-QS3
ZEPU-QS3 is a stretching machine for the lower limbs, the longest in the series at 2000 mm and 100 kg. The patient sits on the sliding seat with the leg extended along the rail or resting on the upper pad, and pulls the cable handle to move the seat and gradually increase the stretch of the hamstrings, adductors and hip flexors.
ZEPU-QS3 is part of the ZEPU-QS series of stretching machines. All models in the series share the same principle: a steel frame with seat and upholstered pads that fix the body position, a stretching element adjustable over 4 levels and a maximum load of 150 kg, with no power supply. The manufacturer's catalogue gives dimensions and weight for each model, and the targeted muscle group follows from the machine's configuration.
Key features
- Seat sliding on rail. The seat moves along a 2000 mm rail and locks in position, so the lower limb stretch increases gradually.
- Cable pull handle. The patient pulls the handle and controls the amplitude alone, with the cable running on pulleys.
- Upper support pad. The upholstered pad at the end of the machine supports the trunk or the leg, depending on the exercise.
- 4-level adjustment. The stretch amplitude locks in 4 steps, for controlled progression from one session to the next.
- Maximum load 150 kg. Steel frame and upholstery rated for patients up to 150 kg.
- No power supply. Mechanical device, no motor and no cables. Can be placed anywhere in the gym.
Clinical indications
The equipment is indicated for:
- Hamstring tightness
- Adductor tightness and limited hip abduction
- Recovery after thigh muscle injuries in athletes
- Hip mobility in the elderly
Frequently asked questions
What does 4-level adjustment mean?
The position of the stretching element locks in 4 steps, so the stretch amplitude increases progressively from one session to the next and the patient does not depend on the therapist's strength to hold the position.
How does it differ from mat stretching?
The machine fixes the body position and the direction of the stretch, so the patient performs the movement correctly from the first session, without compensations, and the therapist supervises several patients at the same time.
Which patients is it suitable for?
Orthopaedic rehabilitation, elderly patients with reduced mobility and athletes, in clinics, rehabilitation centres and physiotherapy gyms. No power supply required.
