MRI scanner for your clinic, hospital or imaging centre
We sell MRI scanners for hospitals, private clinics, imaging centres and veterinary practices. The range covers superconducting systems at 1.5 and 3.0 Tesla, open permanent-magnet systems from 0.3 to 0.5 Tesla, a dedicated veterinary system and research systems. The price of an MRI scanner depends on the field strength, the bore diameter and the coils included in the configuration.
Every system arrives with transport, installation, commissioning and staff training. The conformity documentation and the user manual are handed over at installation, together with the commissioning report.
What happens in practice
An MRI scanner is a major investment, and the chosen configuration sets the operating costs for the entire service life. The difference between a 1.5 and a 3.0 Tesla system shows in resolution and scan time, but also in price and siting requirements. Claustrophobic and overweight patients need a wide bore or an open architecture, and this option is decided before the order.
Siting brings its own requirements. The examination room needs radiofrequency shielding, and classic superconducting systems also require a helium installation with an emergency vent pipe. Without a siting plan prepared before the order, the fit-out costs can exceed the initial budget.
What we do
We start from the examinations you want to offer and from the space you have, not from the catalogue. For orthopaedics and routine examinations, an open permanent-magnet system has low operating costs and also accepts claustrophobic patients. For neurology and detailed examinations we recommend the superconducting systems at 1.5 or 3.0 Tesla. Based on this you receive a quote that covers the scanner, the coils, transport and installation.
Installation, calibration and staff training are included in the price. Many systems in the range run without liquid helium, so the site needs no vent pipe and the operating cost drops. After commissioning we remain responsible for service and parts, with the same contact for the entire service life.
