Helium-free MRI system for clinics and research centres
We sell superconducting MRI systems that run without liquid helium, using a conduction-cooled magnet. The range includes clinical 1.5 Tesla systems, a 3.0 Tesla head scanner, a neonatal system for intensive care units, a mobile system and a 7.0 Tesla preclinical MRI for small animals. For manufacturers and integrators we also supply helium-free superconducting magnets with fields from 0.7 to 9.4 Tesla.
Every system arrives with transport, installation, commissioning and staff training. The conformity documentation and the user manual are handed over at installation, together with the commissioning report.
What happens in practice
A classic superconducting MRI is cooled with liquid helium. The helium is topped up periodically, its price has risen steadily in recent years, and supply depends on a small number of producers worldwide. These costs add up over the scanner's entire service life and are hard to estimate at purchase.
Helium also brings siting requirements. A classic system needs an emergency vent pipe that runs through the building to the outside. In existing buildings or on upper floors, this pipe raises the fit-out cost and can block the project.

The systems in our range use conduction-cooled magnets and run without liquid helium. Periodic helium refills disappear and the emergency vent pipe is no longer needed, so the system can be installed in existing buildings and on upper floors. We start from the examinations you want to offer and from the space you have, and we tell you which model fits.
The quote covers the scanner, the coils, transport, installation and staff training. For medical equipment manufacturers, the superconducting magnets are delivered with technical documentation and integration support. After commissioning we remain responsible for service and parts, with the same contact for the entire service life.
