About the A1S
The equipment shifts the patient's body into a weight-supported position for stepping training. This lets people who cannot stand perform the walking motion while lying down, helping establish the correct pattern from the early phase.
Walking under body weight support reduces spasticity, while the foot spacing and the flexion and extension angles adjust to each patient's condition. Training prevents the complications of immobilisation, such as postural hypotension and pressure sores.
