What is intense pulsed light hair removal?

Pulsed light heats the melanin in the follicle up to coagulation, on the same principle as the laser, but with a spectrum of wavelengths cut by filters. The narrow band of the ADL handpiece concentrates the energy on the useful range, which brings the treatment close to the precision of a laser and reduces the energy lost in the epidermis.

What is the NIR handpiece used for?

Near infrared at 900-1900 nm passes beyond the superficial layer and heats the deep dermis, where it triggers contraction of the collagen fibres and the production of new collagen. It is used for firmness, mild laxity and fine lines, on face and body, in sessions without downtime, with an effect similar to IPL facial rejuvenation but on a different wavelength range.
