About the MiFocus RF
The MiFocus RF is a fractional radiofrequency microneedling machine. The insulated needles, 0.15 mm in diameter, cross the epidermis and release the RF energy in a controlled way, directly into the dermis, at the depth set by the operator between 0.5 and 3.5 mm. The needle insulation protects the skin surface, so the energy works exactly in the targeted layer, with a post-treatment hyperpigmentation risk under 0.3%, according to the manufacturer's data.
The five cartridges, with 9, 14, 25, 36 and 49 needles, cover everything from small, delicate areas to large body surfaces. The precision servo motor and the random needle firing technology reduce repeated trauma on the same point, and recovery is usually limited to mild redness that settles in 6 to 12 hours. Energy, depth and working mode are set from the touchscreen.

Frequently asked questions about radiofrequency microneedling
How does it differ from classic dermapen microneedling?
The dermapen works mechanically alone, through micro-perforations. RF microneedling adds the radiofrequency energy released into the dermis, which contracts the tissue and speeds up collagen remodelling. Results on scars and laxity usually appear in fewer sessions.
How many sessions are needed?
Common protocols run 3 to 4 sessions at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the indication. Deep scars may require additional sessions.
How long is the recovery?
Mild redness usually settles in 6 to 12 hours. Make-up is resumed the next day, with sun protection mandatory during the healing period.
