About the ZEPU-AI1 orthosis
The ZEPU-AI1 mechanical legs are the motorised exoskeleton, that is the orthoses, of the ZEPU-AI1 gait training and evaluation robot. One set is included in the basic package of the robot. The additional set is ordered separately, in an adult or a paediatric version.
Each leg is driven at the hip and the knee and has an ankle and foot support with fastening straps. The segments are adjustable in length. A second set lets the clinic treat paediatric and adult patients on the same robot and shortens preparation time between sessions.

- Adult or paediatric version. The set is ordered in adult or paediatric size, depending on the patients treated in the clinic.
- Compatible with ZEPU-AI1 and ZEPU-AI1 Pro. Mounts on the existing robot, with no changes to the platform.
- Motorised hip and knee joints. Each leg is driven at the hip and the knee and has an ankle and foot support with fastening straps.
- Segment adjustment. The length of the thigh and shank segments is adjusted to fit the patient.
- A second set in the clinic. With two sets of orthoses, changing between patients does not require a full readjustment of a single set.

Is a second set of orthoses needed?
For clinics that also treat children, yes: adult orthoses do not fit children. For clinics with adult patients of similar size, the set included in the basic package is sufficient.
