About the A8-3
The A8-3 is an assessment and training system for isokinetic, isometric, isotonic, centrifugal, centripetal and continuous passive programs, applicable to the six major joints: shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle. It is used in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, sports medicine and rehabilitation.
The isokinetic strength test determines the functional state of muscles by measuring parameters that reflect muscle load during movement. The human body cannot produce isokinetic movement on its own, so the limb is fixed to the instrument's lever, and the limiting device keeps the speed constant: the greater the force, the greater the resistance.
