GreenMR BroadScan-1.5 is a helium-free mobile MRI with a 1.5 Tesla field and a conduction-cooled superconducting magnet. The architecture is open, C-type, on a single column, with a magnet opening angle of at least 270 degrees and an inspection clear space of at least 40 cm, according to the manufacturer.
Removing the liquid helium also removes the quench tube of conventional magnets, so the system moves safely between locations. The gradient of at least 25 mT/m, with a slew rate of at least 60 mT/m/s, supports fast scanning and EPI diffusion imaging, and real-time imaging covers pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative scenarios.
