About ZEPU-X8
ZEPU-X8 is a lower extremity feedback training and evaluation system built as a dynamic tilt table: a verticalisation table with motorised mechanical legs. The patient is secured on the table lying down and the table tilts progressively from 0 to 83 degrees. At the same time, the orthoses move the lower limbs alternately through 0-25 degrees, simulating steps.
Combining verticalisation with leg movement maintains circulation and muscle tone in patients who cannot yet stand and reduces the risk of orthostatic hypotension when rising. The patient follows the exercise on a dedicated screen and the seat section allows positioning in sitting. The system runs on 220 V with a power consumption of 500 VA.
Key features
- Verticalisation 0-83°. The table rises electrically from horizontal to 83 degrees, with progression controlled by the therapist.
- Robotic stepping. The motorised orthoses move the lower limbs alternately through 0-25 degrees while the patient is gradually verticalised.
- Patient screen. The patient follows the parameters and the training scenario on a dedicated display, while the therapist controls the session from the console.
- Seat section. The table has a seat section for positioning in sitting during verticalisation.
- Full securing. Straps for trunk, pelvis, thighs and feet, with headrest and knee roller.
- Mobile on castors. Braked castor base, with the control console on an articulated arm.
Clinical indications
The equipment is indicated for:
- Early verticalisation after stroke, in the acute and subacute phase
- Spinal cord injuries
- Patients confined to bed for long periods
- Traumatic brain injury with impaired consciousness
- Orthostatic hypotension during rehabilitation
- Prevention of contractures and muscle atrophy in neurological patients
Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from ZEPU-X6?
The two models have the same dimensions, angles and power. ZEPU-X8 adds the seat section and the patient screen.
How does it differ from ZEPU-AI3?
ZEPU-AI3 is the AI-range system, with a 55 inch screen for interactive scenarios and a 14 inch therapist display. ZEPU-X8 applies the same principle in a compact configuration, with an arm-mounted console.
